Stuart Mitchell

Hampton North was founded by Stuart Mitchell, who brings over a decade of global technical recruiting expertise.

Stuart has played a key hand in some of the US’s most critical cyber security hires, placing some of the most well-known executives into Financial Services Companies, Retail Brands and Tech Giants alike. He has also single-handedly build cyber security programs from 0-20+ on multiple occasions, including one of these scale-ups in under an 8-week time frame.

Having built and scaled technical recruitment businesses in the past, Stuart founded Hampton North to build the most trusted cyber security recruitment company within the United States.

Spencer Adams

Spencer brings years of experience in the cybersecurity recruitment space to the Hampton North founding team.

He specializes in Security Engineering & Security Operations recruitment, and has placed some key players in very well-known organizations in the recent years at AI-startups, high-growth tech companies, and major social media players. He has also had a hand in scaling cybersecurity teams at multiple pre-IPO organizations in their accelerated growth phases. Outside of security some other key placements he has made within the tech space are a VP of UX Design, Sr Manager of DevOps, and a Director of Customer Success.

Ruby Murphy

Ruby started her recruiting career in the summer of 2021, making a flying start with 70+ placements in a 2-year period.

After obtaining her Bachelor’s in Communications top of class, she obtained her Masters in Organizational Strategy and Crisis from the University of Southern California. During this transition, she started at a large agency and found her stride in niche roles. Ruby has been successful across industries like defense, SaaS, streaming TV, e-commerce, gaming, and fintech, with unique skillsets like Unity Development, Information Security, Machine Learning, DevOps, and even VP or C-suites. Nevertheless, her core focus still revolves around engineering within security ecosystems.

Having a diverse range of knowledge across numerous technologies, Ruby is happy to take on a challenge.

James Lees

James has a wealth of experience in delivering large scale cyber security contract and permanent hiring in the US, UK and EMEA.

He is well recognised in the cyber security community for his ability to build out large scale talented teams. He has previously been retained by Bank Santander to hire 50+ professionals for their Security Operation Centres in Milton Keynes in the UK and Madrid in Spain and completed the project in a 12-week period whilst managing to get a little bit of sleep.

James has a vast Digital Forensics and Incident Response consultancy network which he called upon to make 25 + hires for Tracepoint which played a significant part in the Booz Allen acquisition, because of the talent they inherited.

He is an excellent relationship builder, advisor, and recruitment professional.

Ross Gisondi

Ross Gisondi is a seasoned professional with over 7 years of experience in the field of cyber recruitment. With a track record of excellence, Ross has consistently delivered top-tier talent to an industry-agnostic client base, including sectors such as banking, financial services, fin-tech, SaaS, utilities, and professional services.

Ross specializes in recruiting security executives and advanced practitioners across all cybersecurity verticals, such as cyber defense, research, offensive, application, and cloud security, governance and go-to-market roles. His expertise extends to placing with USA and foreign-based companies seeking to establish a cyber security presence in the USA market. Some of his more recent projects include staffing SOC buildouts, first CISO hires, and impactful leaders and consultants to build services practices for growing organizations.
